How to register your healthcare setup on Sehat Card or Health card in Pakistan?

Getting your hospital registered and empaneled on the health card has become very important in today's era because the identity card of people in most areas of Pakistan has become the health card, due to which the normal health care institutions have become non-existent. The only solution is how to register your hospital on health card which is as follows:

Send self-assessment to Sehat Sahulat Program along with hospital flyers. 
Address: Chief Executive Officer, Sehat Sahulat Program, Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, 3rd Floor, Kohsar Block, Constitutional Avenue, Islamabad. Or Regional Office of Sehat Card near you.

Requirements:
  1. Must have minimum Provisional License from Health Care Commission.
  2. Must have NTN number or FTN number of Tax Exemption Certificate
  3. Must score more than 100 in hospital empanelment criteria
  4. Must have multiple service facility, minimum of 3 departments including medical, general surgery and gynae/obstetrics
  5. Must be a 20 bed or more hospital
  6. Must provide 24/7 services, including emergency services
  7. Must have adequate number of medical officers, including women medical officers
  8. Must have bank account
  9. Must be willing to provider cash-less services on pre-negotiated package rates
  10. Must provide space to Sehat Sahulat Program to develop its counter / kiosk and place program branding
  11. Must agree on payment mechanism with State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan
  12. Must allocate a focal person for complaint redressal
  13. Must have a dedicated team to manage patient claims
  • Team of Sehat Sahulat Program / State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan will visit hospital and review its standards and documents.
  • Negotiations between hospital and State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan on packages of treatment.
  • Contract signature between hospital and State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan.
  • Establishment of Sehat Sahulat Program will allocate of Front Desk Officer/Health Facilitation Officer (HFO) at your hospital. 
  • Start of services
